Farmhouse Lager

American Style Lager
4.7% ABV
History
A common variety of beer, a type of pale lager, traditionally made and consumed in North America, but also popular in much of the rest of the world. It derives ultimately from the Czech Pilsner, but is characterized by a much lighter color and body. It is a difficult style to brew consistently, since the light and delicate character of the style offer the brewer very little room for error or off flavors.
Impression
This pale golden beer is light bodied with a crisp and dry flavor. The malt and hop flavors are low in this beer. This lager is very refreshing and thirst quenching.
Tasting Notes
Our Farmhouse Lager is brewed with generous amounts of Vienna malt, which brings this light bodied beer to new dimensions with a refreshing finish.

Double India Pale Ale

Double IPA
8.3% ABV
History
Double IPA brewed in 1994 by Vinnie Cilurzo, then head brewer of Blind Pig Brewing Company of Temecula, Californi. Cilurzo claims he "accidentally" created the style by adding 50% too much malt to his mash tun. He then "corrected" this mistake by adding 100% more hops. This is up for some debate, however, as the local San Diego Pizza Port brewery claims to have been brewing "the original San Diego IPA" since 1992 when they opened their brewery (two years before Cilurzo and Blind Pig). Still others attribute the creation of this style to Rouge Ales, a microbrewery in Newport, Oregon, and its I2PA beer, brewed in 1990.
Impression
This beer has the most hops of any beer we produce.
Tasting Notes
Our Gunslinger Double India Pale Ale starts with a rich malt base to which we add hops, hops and more hops. This skillful blend of malt sweetness and aggressive hoppiness will rule your senses! After the addition of Columbus, simcoe, centennial and citra hops at various points of the brewing process, we reach the final IBU count of 93.

Impression
A very complex unfiltered wheat beer. A distinct banana-like fruitiness is very apparent. Slight hints of clove and nutmeg underlie the medium-light body. Very lightly hopped, the first impression is the fruity esters and bread like characteristics from the malted wheat. Very easy to drink. Not for the average beer drinker. A beer best drank young; matures in only a few weeks of aging.
Tasting Notes
Traditionally this beer can be served with a slice of lemon. This adds a bit of citrus note that compliments the fruitiness. No fruit is added. All of the flavors come from a unique yeast strain from Bavaria. The esters are produced during fermentation.

A light bodied American Ale brewed with a significant portion of wheat. The base beer is very mild and not overpowering in any one aspect. After aging on raspberries for two days the beer picks up a noticeable fruity aroma and flavor. FRUIT BEERS SHOULD STILL TASTE LIKE BEER! The aroma and flavor from the fruit enhances the beer but does not overpower it. The beer is hazy from the raspberries.
Tasting Notes
Brewed with the German pilsner malts and hops; the beer is aged on a raspberry puree from Oregon. There are no artificial flavors or extracts. It is a great beer for drinking on hot summer days; very refreshing, crisp with a bright fruity palate and aroma.
